The midsize sedan segment of the U.S. auto market is one of the most fiercely competitive areas of an incredibly competitive industry. There doesn’t seem to be a bad car out there these days, so for a car to be named as “Sedan of the Year” ahead of its competitors is a real achievement. But that’s exactly what has happened to the superb 2014 Mazda6, which has won the accolade in the Autobytel Car and Truck of the Year awards. This is now the second time that the brand has been recognized with an annual award from Autobytel, and it’s another big boost for the Mazda6 and for Mazda Dealers across the country.
The accolade follows on from the 2013 CX-5, which was named as the Crossover of the Year during the inaugural year of the awards. This latest shot in the arm for the Mazda6 and dealerships such as Mazda Dealer Cincinnati, comes on top of more recent good news that saw the midsize sedan achieve Top Safety Pick+ status from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
